As part of the post race ceremonies, the WHF A-4 Skyhawk joined four USN F/A-18 Super Hornets
in doing a commemorative flyby over the Indianapolis 500. To view several photos of this event,

WHF A-4 Skyhawk and
T-2 Buckeye to do flyby
at Indianapolis 500!

To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Naval Aviation, as well as the 100th Anniversary of
the Indy 500 Mile Race, the Foundation A-4 Skyhawk and T-2 Buckeye will be doing a high speed, post race,
victory lane flyover along with several other Warbirds, and formations of both F/A-18's,
and other Naval aircraft!

Steve Kirik earns an A-4
Skyhawk Type Rating!
3/17/2011
Steve Kirik, WHF Demonstration Pilot and Safety Officer, took his check ride on
February 19th, and received his Type Rating in the A-4 Skyhawk. Steve will
be flying our A-4B at airshows later this season. Congratulations, Steve!
